Inclined Shaft Designing at Sadovaya Mine For a New Mine Field Development

Abstract
RAG Mining Solutions GmbH, Germany offers a new excavation and shaft roadheading technology. This experience was obtained over years of involvement in German mining industry and then presented in the global market. International companies are faced with the issues of market adaptation and getting an optimal cost increase for their products. RAG Mining Solutions GmbH provides a target service and technologies to ensure a stable development of these companies. In view of the above RAG Mining Solutions GmbH has designed an inclined shaft for Sadovaya mine in Ukraine including a drift roof calculation and selection of machinery and electric diagrams. Beside the know-how the list of services includes the provision of RAG Mining Solutions GmbH used equipment. The projected shaft will sink from the surface to a new mine field with length of 1240 m and angle of dip of 16°. Initially it will be used as a ventilation drift and inclined entry for transportation. Subsequently the production is expected to increase to up to 10000 tons of coal per day using for coal transportation the new shaft which will also be used for loading and unloading of the necessary materials and worker transportation. The inclined shaft is also an essential supply channel and airway. While projecting the connection between the old mine field and the new mine field must be taken into account. Therefore the ventilation capacity and production parameters are considered while developing the new mine field. The purpose of the article is to briefly outline the project and ensure a successful cooperation on the Ukrainian-German level.
