Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of developing methods and approaches to the search for mineral deposits. The paper considers the possibilities of using passive seismic methods to determine the structure of the upper part of the East-Beisky coal mine according to the data of a regional network of stations: methods of H/V-ratios and microseismic sounding based on variations in the amplitude-frequency composition of seismic waves when passing through a medium with different densities and seismic wave velocities. As a result, for the local area of ??the East-Beisky coal deposit, the depths of occurrence of layers of various densities and their thickness, as well as their density and seismic wave velocity, were determined. Comparison of the obtained data with the geological section showed good convergence of the results.
