Annotation

Large enterprises in the extractive industry are approaching the implementation of activities more and more environmentally responsibly, implementing the principles of corporate and social justice, which allows to some extent leveling a lot of problems that accompany the production process of mining. However, due to the specifics of this process, the activity of extractive industries and at the present stage of development is associated with the formation of a significant environmental burden in the regions of raw material orientation. In this regard, the assessment of the impact of the investment and innovation factor in the formation of the system of environmental safety of the country and its regions is of no small importance. Environmental security, as an important component of economic security, is closely related to technical, technological and innovation-investment factors in the development of production, since it is precisely this that can become a limiter to the further economic development of the territory and significantly reduce its investment potential due to the manifestation of social environmental and economic risks. In turn, the investment activity of enterprises contributes to the development and implementation of innovations, improving the technical and technological parameters of production and allowing to increase the level of environmental safety, consistently bringing it up to generally recognized modern standards.
