Abstract

The article analyzes global trends in patenting in the field of full-cycle treatment technologies of pit and surface wastewater for open-pit coal mining operations for a period of 10 years. The authors demonstrate that the patent analytics methods can be used to analyze the market of the subject area, define objectives and build a strategy for the practical implementation of innovative developments both at the level of an individual company and at the level of the industry as a whole.
