Abstract

People Republic of China faces the need to balance the gradual phasing out of coal energy and ensuring energy supply stability. This article examines keyaspects of the role of coal in the country’s energy policy, analyzing changes in consumption, production, and government strategies. It discusses measures taken by China to reduce carbon emissions and the impact of these changes on the global climate change landscape.
