Abstract
Digitalization of operations in the Russian mining industry is becoming an increasingly important factor in improving the production efficiency and competitiveness of the companies. The authors analyze the current state of digitalization, identify the main trends and challenges faced by the companies in implementing digital solutions. A particular attention is paid to studying readiness of companies in this industry to invest in various technological projects related to digitalization. The article also discusses the role of digitalization in increasing labor productivity, streamlining production processes, reducing costs, and improving working conditions. Other aspects discussed include implementation of monitoring and forecasting systems, automation of production lines, and the use of big data for analytics and decision making.
