Abstract

Based on the generalization of the results of previous research by the authors, the article proposes a model of a smart sustainable territory and a system of indicators for its assessment in the context of six main directions. Using qualitative research methods, factorial and effective signs of sustainable development of coal mining regions in the context of digitalization were selected. After checking for multicollinearity, a multiple regression model was built based on correlation and regression analysis in the Microsoft Excel data analysis package, the closeness of the relationship between the factorial and the resulting indicator and the statistical significance of the model were confirmed. Further directions of research are defined: multiparametric modeling of sustainable development of coal mining regions; testing the interconnection and mutual influence of features characterizing digital infrastructure and environmental protection; a differentiated approach to taking into account the factors of digitalization of coal mining regions in the model, depending on the level of their digital maturity and sustainability.

Keywords
